COHEN & COMPANY HIRES JON DEVIRIAN TO FOCUS ON COMMERCIAL MORTGAGE BACKED SECURITIES TRADING

Philadelphia, PA and New York, NY – March 30, 2009 – Jon Devirian has joined Cohen & Company to specialize in Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities Trading. Prior to joining Cohen & Company, Jon spent the previous six years of his career with Merrill Lynch where his primary responsibility was trading the firm’s multi-billion dollar CMBS cash book. Jon will be based in Cohen & Company’s New York office.
