COHEN & COMPANY SECURITIES ANNOUNCES ADDITION TO SECURITIZED PRODUCTS SALES

New York, NY – December 1, 2010 Cohen and Company is pleased to announce that Zachary Cooper will be joining Cohen and Company Securities as a Managing Director in its Securitized Product Sales Group.

Zach brings to Cohen a wealth of experience in the Securitized Product space. Prior to joining Cohen, Zach was a Senior Portfolio Manager in Securitized Products at Highland Financial Holdings Group for eight years. At Highland, Zach managed a 2+ billion portfolio of investment grade MBS and mortgage related ABS. Prior to Highland, Zach co-managed the Deutsche Bank Proprietary Mortgage Derivative trading desk for three years. At DB, Zach co-managed a portfolio of over $2 billion in mortgage derivatives.

He will be based in our New York office reporting to David Clifford, National Sales Manager.
